Self-Launching

Many of our customers launch their own boats during the week, on weekends and holidays. Remember, we are the only supervised marina on the chain, so we are always there in case you need help. The launch docks are open 24/7 for self launching. It does not get more convenient than that. Fees are very reasonable:

• Monday – Thursday: $25.00
• Friday – Sunday: $30.00

My wife and I were looking for a place to launch our power-boat on the Chain of Lakes. We tried a few other spots only to find that they were run down, dirty or lacked adequate parking for boat trailers. And, we did not want to launch at the free public launch site in the State Park because of occasional reports of car break-ins.

Ben Watts is the best launch spot on the Chain of Lakes that we have found. There are multiple ramps with docks. The ramps appear to go out quite far to accommodate large boats. When we were there an employee was at the ramps to help people with their launch process both going out and coming back in. There is plenty of convenient parking for vehicles with boat trailers near the ramp with only a modest walk to the ramp from the parking spot.

The marina is located on Route 12 in the town of Fox Lake…We were quite happy with our experience here and I'm sure we will be back.

Marina Launching

If you need us to launch it for you, we can do that. Just call us 2 hours in advance (minimum), before 3:00 PM, and we will have your boat ready for you, moored at the dock – fueled and with ice in your cooler. When you are done at the end of the day (up to 4:45 PM), we will re-trailer your boat and place it into storage. If you return after hours, simply moore it at an available service dock, and we will take care of it the next morning.

You can also ask to keep the boat in for longer. Coming out for a few days? No worries. Just let us know the dates and we will leave it in the water for you!

This service includes seasonal, indoor, reserved boat storage.

• Finance: Call us and we can discuss financing opportunities with you.
• Summer Services: When we take your boat out of storage in the spring, we can summerize your vessel and get it ready for the water.
• Winter Services: When the boating season ends, you can pull your boat out from the slip, trailer it and tell us to winterize your vessel. Or, we can do it for you and your worries are over. We can pressure wash, shrink-wrap and store it at our facility.
• Boat & Trailer Storage: We can store your boat on our grounds, either inside for total weather protection, or outside.
